We encourage, teach, and strengthen one another in the context and truth of the Gospel. We strive to grow in our faith and lead others to do the same. We stand on the solid ground of Christ and His Word!

Our Invitation

We invite and welcome everyone to come see what the Lord is doing at Smyrna Baptist Church! Whether you are looking for a church home, looking for help and hope, or just curious, you are always welcome! We will do everything we can to point you to Jesus Christ.

Where will you spend eternity?

SIN: We have sinned because we have all broken God’s Law (Romans 3:23). Our sin has separated us from God, and the Bible tells us that the punishment for sin is to be forever separated from God in a place called Hell (Romans 6:23, Revelation 21:8).

MANKIND: We cannot do enough good things to earn favor with God. We cannot save ourselves from the punishment for sin (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are separated from God by our sin, and can only be saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

GOOD NEWS: God didn’t want us to be doomed to face our punishment, so He sent Jesus Christ to take our punishment for us (Romans 5:8, John 3:16). Jesus died in our place and rose again three days later to prove His victory over sin and death!

RESPOND: Every person must respond to this truth. Everyone must choose to believe in Jesus Christ, turn away from sin, and commit their life unto the Lord, and accept the gift of salvation (Romans 10:9). For those who do not accept the gift of salvation God has provided, they are doomed to face forever separation from God in a place called Hell.
